Murals

In 2023, ESDA worked with artists and volunteers to paint and install four murals.

32nd Street Pop-up Park

In 2023, ESDA converted 32nd Street from Smith to Paine Avenues into a park with FieldTurf, planters, and regular activations, including farmers markets and a Friday music series with food trucks.

Little Free Library

In 2024, ESDA converted a former phonebook into a Little Free Library with wayfinding signage on the outside. The library was located at the northwest corner of 32nd & Smith, and was taken down in November 2024.

Street Pole Banners

In 2025, ESDA installed street pole banners along Broadway and Hewitt to welcome city visitors into the neighborhood and downtown.

Events and Activities

ESDA Piano Concert Series - The piano concert series features local talent performing at the Everett Station. Performers are free to use the piano and play a tune for transit users and staff.

Station Holiday Celebration - In December, ESDA hosts Santa at Everett Station. Families get free hot cocoa and have their photos taken with Santa!

Vaccination Station: Care-a-Van Clinic Event

ESDA partners with the Washington State Department of Health: Care-a-Van team to host mobile vaccination clinics inside the station. This provides individuals with vaccinations and health literacy information.

Everett Station District Street Fair

Each June, ESDA hosts a street fair on 32nd Street to build a sense of community and for nonprofits, agencies, and businesses to share how they’re survey the neighborhood.
