ESDA started with community conversations in 2014, formalized in 2016, and incorporated in July 2017 — the listed dates of board membership use the 2016 formalization as the start point. Per the organizational bylaws, terms are three years and board members can serve up to nine consecutive years. ESDA’s paid annual members elect the board members at the Annual Meeting, and the board can appoint individuals to vacant positions.
